I came across NetDNA.com, which is another website of theirs. Then i stumbled on maxcdn.net and signed up right away because I was looking for something simple and quick. These guys make it easy and their performance is really awesome. I haven’t had any issues with their support either. They are top notch.

I’ve recently signed up with MaxCDN for use with my BlogfromItaly.com site. MaxCDN was easy to set up, and it is used with the W3 Total Cache WordPress caching plugin – again the integration with this plugin was straightforward.

    I paid for the 1 terrabyte option – $35.

So far, I am happy with the results. Pages on BlogfromItaly.com do seem to load much more quickly than before, although blog posts with lots of comments, one has 500+, another 150, seem to have a negative effect on site average page load time. I’m using Google Webmaster to monitor page load time, but I’m not sure Google Webmaster has registered the effects of the cdn system just yet.

What has been noticeable, has been a significant increase in traffic which is more than the 20%. Faster loading pages do seem to appeal to visitors.

My only slight gripe concerns mobile site pages – these do seem much faster, but are still rather slow, but I’m not sure MaxCDN is to blame for this.

Overall, I am very happy with MaxCDN, and would recommend them to others, especially those who have sites with lots of multi-media content and are having problems owing to high traffic levels.

In terms of extra traffic, MaxCDN will recoup its cost relatively quickly. The ROI it generates is worthwhile, I would say.
